I have always been a big fan of the Cuddledry apron towel – it was one of the first things I got when baby number one arrived on the scene and I have used it pretty much every day since (I have to wash and tumble dry mine the same day so I am never without it). If a friend or relative has a baby, they will find one in the post from me within 24 hours or thereabouts and I know they will be forever thankful. Now, with the arrival of child number two, a little girl, I was even more delighted to see they have launched the design in a pretty pink polka dot pattern – very cute.
So what is all the fuss about? Well, the idea is simplicity itself – a towel with a loop that hooks around your neck so that both hands are free to pick up your slippery baby and safely wrap her up in your lap. The loop is fastened and unfastened using poppers so it is easy to get on and off. It is a blend of bamboo and cotton so it is soft too.
There are other Cuddledry products that could catch your eye, like the superabsorbent hair towel that pops on your little one’s head, twists at the back and secures into a stretchy loop on top. Or not even on the shelves yet are three new Snuggle towels – the new Snuggle Monkey, Snuggle Bunny and Snuggle Polar Bear aimed at slightly older children aged three to six years, who have grown out of their toddler towels – arriving on the shelves on December 6th. So something for everyone.
