The Spanish Mayoral fashion brand has been a favorite for my youngest daughter since we first saw this brand five years ago in a boutique in Torres Vedras, Portugal. My daughter was two at that time, and even now my daughter’s taste has changed a little bit, Mayoral is still The brand we go shopping for when in Portugal. (luckily I discovered recently that Mayoral is offered at great UK online shops as well, like alexandalexa.com and panachekids.co.uk)
I couldn’t agree more with Mayoral’s strategy, and even more so, they succeeded with this brilliant strategy. The Mayoral strategy is to create and promote a brand that combines the latest trends from around the world into a casual European collection that appeals to the masses. Thus, providing their customers with a well balanced product that is fashionable, price conscious and of the highest quality.
In 2011, Mayoral celebrated 70 years of “making friends”. The most interesting aspect is in its origin: what began as a modest company dedicated to the production and commercialization of socks and shoes (“Dominguez Toledo” in 1941), has now become a large group with international recognition, representing Spain’s style of fashion around the world.
