The wait is over for the search for Cake Lingerie’s first French ‘Real Mums, Real Fit’
Campaign in conjunction with French nursing retailer, MamaNANA, with the winners’ images released worldwide last month.
After a three month long search, four enchanting women were selected as the new faces and bellies of Cake Lingerie’s sixth instalment of their ongoing global campaign.
The lovely French ladies indulged in Cake products from their Birthday Cake range at an elegant ‘Marie Antoinette-inspired’ photoshoot set in a stylish suite, where they sipped on tea and treated like royalty.
The campaign inspires women to look and feel beautiful throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding with the comfort and support of Cake Lingerie products that have been specially engineered with MyBustTM Technology to meet a nursing mother’s individual needs.
The search for France’s very own ‘Real Mums’ had an overwhelming response in applications that were submitted in MamaNANA stores earlier this year.
‘Real Mum’ winner, Amélie said she had always yearned for mothering products that were fashion trendy and feminine.
“I saw the campaign casting and a tiny voice in my head encouraged me to apply, while my head (or extra 30 pounds) was telling me not to!” Amélie said.
“I hesitated for a good long while, and the little voice eventually won… and against my expectations I found I had won the contest…I was jumping for joy!”
The four ‘Real Mums’ were thrilled to embrace their baby bumps and newborns in an empowering campaign that highlighted ‘real’, natural and every day women.
Cake Lingerie Founder, Tracey Montford said we are constantly bombarded with unrealistic body images, creating a pressure that just isn’t fair.
“Women should be celebrated and applauded, and that’s why Cake products have and always will be designed for mums, by mums,” she said.
“It was also thrilling to base this campaign’s theme around Marie Antoinette, as she was the captivating French woman who inspired all things ‘Cake’.
