We spend our last two Summer family holidays at CampoReal, a truly spectacular spot to relax, celebrate and reconnect. ACCOMMODATION
CampoReal’s hotel boasts 151 elegant guestrooms including double, single, twin and suites. The rooms have been tastefully decorated in neutral tones and comfortable furnishings, offering a beautiful space where guests will be able to relax. Further CampoReal offers 126 high quality self-catering villas, apartments and townhouses. Enjoy all the amenities the hotel has to offer while staying at one of the beautiful decorated residences.  The rooms are provided with voice mail, high speed internet connection, refreshment center and in-room movies. The luxury suites feature separate living room and bedroom areas, many with balconies and/or terraces.

Eight individually decorated treatment rooms each have a private shower. The jewel in the crown is the double treatment suite, which has a private balcony and hydro bath.

OUTSIDE THE RESORT
LoureShopping is a big shopping mall just 30 minutes from the resort. LoureShopping is home to well known stores like Zara, H&M, Benetton and Bebé Confort.

Some pre-birth shopping can also be done in Torres Vedras, the lovely town only 5 minutes from the resort.  We visited a Disney themed shoe  store called Sweet Shoes (rua Serpa Pinto 20) where you can find even the smallest shoes for your baby. Expecting mums and new mums will also love the nearby Casa Sandrinha. This store offers a very wide range of the baby and children brand Mayoral.

Another great day was a visit to the museum town of Óbidos. The town is characterised by its white houses inside a wall. Near the Tourist Information Office, horse drawn carriages rides are waiting to take you on a tour through the historic center. The ride is absolutely exciting because of all the small streets.

Nevertheless, exploring the center by walking around might be the best option, especially when you are pregnant.

GETTING THERE
Lisbon airport (airport code = LIS) is only a 30 minute drive from CampoReal on the A8 motorway. You can pick up a hire car from the airport or arrange for a private car to collect you through CampoReal Services.
